 The Executive Board recently finished endorsement interviews, and most of the videos are online.  (Elizabeth Berns and Craig Pridemore will be added soon!)

Congratulations to the Delegates and Alternates elected at the 36th Legislative District Caucus yesterday!  The individuals listed below will represent the Democrats of the 36th District at the 7th Congressional District Caucus and the Washington State Democratic Convention.  Here are the details of these two events:

Washington State Democratic Convention
Friday, June 1st through Sunday, June 3rd, 2012
(The bulk of the agenda is on June 2nd)

The State Convention is the biggest rally for Washington State Democrats every two years.  Elected official delegates and At-Large delegates to the National Convention will be elected by the LD-representatives of the State Central Committee.  A platform and resolutions will also be adopted.  For more information and to register, visit this website:  www.wa-democrats.org/conventioninfo.  (Registration is required for all Delegates and Alternates!)
 
If you are interested in running for National Delegate, you must submit this form to the State Democratic Party by Friday, May 4th!

Welcome to the 36th District Democrats

Welcome Democrats and soon-to-be Democrats!  Our district party organization represents the 36th Legislative District in the Queen Anne, Belltown, Interbay, Magnolia, Crown Hill, Phinney Ridge, North Beach and parts of the Fremont, Belltown, South Lake Union, Fremont, Greenwood and Broadview neighborhoods. 

We are an inclusive, big tent party.  We urge participation from folks of all backgrounds and experiences. We strive for diversity within our membership.  Anyone is welcome to participate.  Whether you simply want to pay membership dues and vote occassionally on endorsements or whether you'd like to volunteer regularly and become active in our political, legislative or community service legs of our districts, we want to plug you in. 

Our monthly meetings are the 3rd Wednesday of each month, starting at 7:00 pm.  Anyone is welcome to come to our meetings.  Click Get Involved to find other ways to get involved in our district party organization.  Or if you'd like to participte in other ways, please contact us
