If you want to bring your voice to the state party platform, or if you know someone in the district who is politically engaged but not yet involved in the Democratic party, this is a great time to participate.
On March 26, 2022, we will be selecting our Legislative District’s Delegates to the State Convention, which will be held on June 25, 2022 in Tacoma, Washington, with a non-excuse needed virtual participation option for those who would prefer not attending in person.
Any individual who resides in the 36th and identifies themselves as a Democrat is eligible to run and serve as a Delegate to the State Convention. You may register to become a Delegate using the delegate form below – feel free to share with anyone you think may be interested in becoming a Delegate. The deadline to declare your intent (i.e. submit the form) is 11:59 p.m. March 23, 2022.
All individuals who were members of the 36th LD as of March 23, 2022 will be eligible to vote for delegates in this ”meeting.” The Caucus will begin at 10 a.m. and voting will conclude by 6 p.m. on March 26, 2022. Voting members of the 36th will participate by completing the Google Form ballot that will be mailed to you by Friday, March 25.
The rules for the ”meetingless“ caucus are available at this link, and were discussed at our March 16 membership meeting.
