We are hosting a panel on refugees, featuring,
- Nicky Smith, Executive Director of the Seattle office of International Rescue Committee
- Amhed Abdi, our endorsed candidate for Port of Seattle Commissioner, position 3, and a refugee from Somalia
- Veena Prasad, founder and Executive Director of Project Feast
- And Sarah Peterson, State Refugee Coordinator at the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services.
The 36th District Democrats will also consider four resolutions from the members:
