Help get out the vote at the Ballard Trader Joe’s/Ballard Blocks shopping area.
If you’d like to help get out the vote and also let people know about the 36th District Democrats, here is a great option!
The Ballard Blocks area, with Trader Joe’s and other stores, has a high population which supports Democrats but generally has low voter turnout. We identified it as a great place to try to reach more voters, and you can help by passing out the 36th Democrats’ endorsement flyers on Sunday or Monday, November 1 and 2.
How it works: choose when you’d like to volunteer on Sunday Nov. 1 and/or Monday Nov. 2. Trader Joe’s is open 9am-9pm every day and is located at 4609 14th Ave NW. Any time works, we suggest 1-2 hours but if you want to do more, that’s great! You are also welcome to bring a friend also, they do not have to be a member of the 36th.
Anyone can volunteer, no experience needed, it is as simple as asking folks if they’ve voted and offering the endorsement flyer.
We have endorsement flyers and will coordinate how to get them to you.
