Sound Transit is considering cutting light rail to Ballard and instead ending it in Smith Cove, which is very far from Ballard near Lower Queen Anne. This is not what we voted for in 2016, to build a train to Ballard, and last year the 36th Democrats voted almost unanimously in favor of speeding up light rail construction to Ballard, the opposite of this latest plan from Sound Transit. There was also a march on April 19 in favor of Ballard Light Rail attended by several hundred people. We want light rail to Ballard!
