For two years, Republicans in the State Senate have blocked progressive policy, from the Reproductive Parity Act, to transportation funding, to sensible tax policy, and beyond. We need all hands on deck to help Democrats win the Senate!

Volunteers from the 36th helped the Isenhower campaign beat their doorbelling goals before the Primary.

Doorbelling for Matt Isenhower – November 1st!

Democrat Matt Isenhower is running against Republican Sen. Andy Hill in the 45th Legislative District (Redmond and Kirkland). It is arguably a tossup that could determine which party controls the State Senate. We need your help to knock on doors to remind Democratic voters to mail in their ballots!

Here is the schedule:

12:30 – 1:00 Meet at Ballard High School parking lot (NW 67th St., just east of 15th Ave NW), sort into cars of 3-4 people each to carpool to Redmond.
1:30 – 2:00 Arrive at Campaign HQ in Redmond. Receive training, maps, walk lists, and matierals. The campaign will provide pizza.
2:00 – 6:00 The same cars of 3-4 people will travel to residential areas to knock on doors.
6:00 – 6:30 Return to Campaign HQ. Return walk lists and matierals. Eat more pizza.
7:00 Return to Ballard HS

For our doorbelling to be successful, we need some volunteers for the following additional tasks:

Materials in hand, 36th volunteers prepare to knock on doors in <a href=

Driver: We need doorbellers who are Willing to drive their own vehicle with up to 3 additional passengers throughout the day, from Ballard HS to Campaign HQ to the doorbelling location and back. Drivers may ask their passengers to chip in for transportation costs as they feel is appropriate.

Navigator: We need volunteers who have a smart phone with mapping software and feel comfortable navigating unfamiliar streets to find residential addresses.
